With more than three decades in the DJ industry, Leon shows no signs of retiring his headphones anytime soon. He began his career in the early 90s, performing at local hotel dances to earn some extra pocket money.
By 1994, at the age of 16, he secured his first club residency and began making a name for himself in the house music scene. Known on stage as “Lee Munati," Leon has played at countless nightclubs, events, and festivals throughout his career. He also gained recognition for his DJ mixes broadcast on 5FM and Good Hope FM.
Following the lockdown, Leon embarked on a new venture, focusing on events for a more mature audience under his Boerman brand. Despite the Afrikaans name, Boerman's music selection is diverse, spanning genres from the 80s and 90s to rock, country, Afrikaans tunes, and dance hits.
Don't miss out on experiencing one of Boerman's incredible parties—Leon's extensive experience and eclectic music taste promise an unforgettable time.
